Please read the Code of Conduct Policy below, then complete the following Meeting Room Reservation Form electronically. If you're unable to do so electronically, you may download the form here, complete it, and turn it in to library staff.

Code of Conduct Policy (Approved 8/15/2024)

​​Patrons shall not interfere with Lakes Country Public Library (LCPL) staff performance of their duties or another’s use of the library. The “library” shall mean all parts of the interior and exterior property of Lakes Country Public Library. This includes the sidewalk, parking lot, and grounds. LCPL will uphold all state laws and local ordinances regarding public behavior. Staff will also take appropriate action to prohibit any of the activities or behaviors listed below. Violators will be asked to stop such activity immediately, and a record of such violations will be kept by the Director. Failure to comply or repeated violations will result in suspension of library privileges and referred to the Oconto County Sheriff’s Department.

Prohibited Behaviors
  • Smoking & Vaping, including use of electronic cigarettes
  • Possession or use of alcoholic beverages or controlled substances
  • Sleeping on premises
  • Abusing or vandalizing facilities or equipment
  • Rearranging/disarranging library furnishings or materials
  • Altering settings on computers
  • Damaging/vandalizing any equipment including computers/software
  • Damaging/mutilating/cutting pages from library materials
  • Bringing a weapon onto the premises unless authorized by law.
  • Noisy activities that disturb other patrons or staff, including loud phone conversations
  • Any form of harassment including but not limited to sexual advances, sexual language, profanity
  • Entering non-public spaces without permission
  • Remaining in the building beyond posted operating hours without permission of library staff

Responsibility for minor children rests with parent/guardian or assigned chaperone. Unattended children shall
not enter or be left at the library, except when part of a sanctioned activity. Arrangements for pick-up by closing
time must be made. Any child left at the library after closing time without authorization will initiate a contact
with the Oconto County Sheriff’s Department.

    Lakes Country Public Library Meeting Room Reservation Form
    *The Library reserves the right to restrict use of the kitchen. Only light refreshments and non-alcoholic beverages may be served in the Zeller Community Room.
    ​The Library will not set up your meeting room. Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to set up chairs and tables as needed. You will be expected to clean up.
    ​I have received and read the Meeting Room Policy and understand the regulations/code of conduct included. I understand that any failure to abide by this policy, by myself, or my group, may result in a loss of future use of the meeting rooms. I accept responsibility for all damage caused to the building, furnishings, equipment or determined by library staff.
